Alexander Robert Quintero

Alexander Robert Quintero passed away on July 15, 2025 in Irving Texas. He was born on January 8, 1991 in Bogota, Colombia. He is survived by his parents, Edward and Karen of Florida, and his brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Katie, also of Florida. He will be missed by many other family members and friends.

Alex graduated from East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, FL where he participated on the school’s wrestling team and began his love for the German language. One of his favorite past times was studying military history, especially the strategies used in various battles from Alexander the Great to Napoleon to more current day wars. His enthusiasm in military history is what inspired him to join the U.S. Army in 2010. He was deployed to Afghanistan as a turret gunner. Upon his discharge from the Army, he remained in Florida for some time, eventually relocating to Texas where he lived for 8 years.

A celebration of life will be held in Massachusetts at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent the Gary Sinese Foundation, Tunnel to Towers Foundation or a charity of your choice.
