Allene Joyce Knott

Cleburne–Funeral services for Allene Joyce Knott, 82, of Cleburne, will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 18, 2003, in the Drawing Room at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Frost Cemetery, Frost, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6-7 PM, Friday, October 17, 2003 at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, Cleburne. Ms. Knott, a retired nutritionist from Hockaday School in Dallas, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2003 in a local nursing home. She was born August 1, 1921, in Frost, Texas, the daughter of Joe Lee and Michie (Hill) Knott. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Maizie Brown and Maurine Ponder and one brother, Damon Knott. She is survived by nieces, Shirley Redding, of Cleburne and Helen Whyte, of Washington; nephews, Irl Brown, of Amarillo, Paul D. Knott, of Colorado Springs, Colorado and David Knott, of Sydney, Australia; she is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and many lovely friends.
