Angel Edwin Fajardo

DALLAS – Angel Edwin Fajardo, 47, died Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dallas, Fort Worth National Cemetery. Angel Edwin Fajardo was born January 26,1967 in Brooklyn, New York to Edwin and Brunilda Fajardo. After a family move he spent his early childhood in Puerto Rico where he attended Bella Vista Adventist School. After another move he graduated from Valley Grande Academy in 1984. He attended Southwestern Adventist College before joining the Air Force in 1987 where he trained and served as a surgical service specialist. After his military service, he completed an associate of applied science degree in computer-aided drafting technology.^ Ed valued family and was always sensitive to special family celebrations and holidays. He was a doting and affectionate Uncle to each one of his nieces and nephews. Both friends and family remember his warmth, humor, and loyalty. On Wednesday, September 24, 2014 while at the VA Hospital, Ed suffered cardiac arrest from a pulmonary embolism that originated from a blood clot in his leg. Throughout Wednesday and Thursday he survived multiple codes and procedures. After a valiant effort Ed died surrounded by his family. Survivors include: parents Edwin and Brunilda Fajardo; sisters and brothers in-law Belinda and Benjamin Thornton & Rose and Michael Varsusbky; nieces Breanna and Bethany Thornton & Emma Varsubsky; nephews Evan and Micah Varsubsky; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many good friends.
