Celebration of Life for Anthony Wendall Walker March 21, 1958 – December 30, 2020 Service for Anthony Wendall Walker January 6, 2021 @ 10:00 am At Long Star Cremation Center Dallas Texas Obituary Anthony Wendall Walker Anthony (Tony) Wendall Walker was born on March 21, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to proud parents, Portia (Talbert) Wilson and Robert (Speedy) Walker Sr. He was the second oldest of Portia and Robert’s children. At an early age, Anthony (Tony) accepted Christ, being raised in a Christian family home. Tony was educated through the Chicago Public School system and graduated from Percy L. Julian High School in 1976. He also attended Olive Harvey College and received certification in electrical training. For the past 20 years, Tony was employed with Leadec Industrial Company as a custodian and worked his way up to a supervisor. A loving son, brother, father, and friend, Tony also was the most caring, generous, and humble person. He enjoyed being with family and friends and he loved playing chess, working with electronics, and cooking. On December 30, 2020, Tony departed this life at Baylor Hospital in Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother Portia J. Wilson, father Robert (Speedy) Walker Sr., brothers Robert Walker Jr., Gregory Walker, Pierre A. Walker, step father William Wilson and step brother Ricky Wilson. Anthony (Tony) leaves to cherish his memory: Daughter: Paulette T. Steele-Gayten, Granddaughter: Toniah V. Gayten, Brothers: Allen G. Walker (Tonique), Andre Walker, Myron Walker (Secola), William L. Wilson (Monica) and Victor D. Wilson (Linda), Step Brother: Quinton Wilson (Jacqueline) and a host of uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
