Audrey Valerie Edwards

On July 11, 1950, in Marshall, Texas, God sent to King Jeff Edwards and Addie Lou Harris Edwards an infant daughter whom they named Audrey Valerie Edwards. Audrey received her formal education at Como High School in Fort Worth ISD. Audrey accepted Christ as her Savior at Pleasant Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of J.L. Lenley. Audrey enjoyed making people laugh; mystery programs (especially CSI); collecting CSI memorabilia and solving puzzles. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, King Jeff Edwards and Addie Lou Harris Roland. Long will the memories of Audrey be treasured in the minds and hearts of her surviving family members and friends, one son, Lawrence Edwards; one daughter, Gera Butler; stepmother, Margret Edwards; two grandsons Ronnie Butler and Xavier Butler; two sisters, Saundra Spencer (Cornelius) and Cheryl Harkless (Alvin); two brothers, Darrell Edwards and Ray Charles Jenkins (Sonya); special friend, Jack Boyd; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
