Barbara Ann Felton Krist born February 1, 1936 in Fort Smith, Arkansas entered her eternal rest in Jesus Christ on February 18th, 2025 of natural causes. She was preceded in death by her parents Dolphus & Ethel Norwood, and sister Betty Lee Hayward. She was surrounded by her loving husband of 47 years, Keith Krist and family. She is survived by her children Cindy Hardman (John) of Plano, Judy Alred (Keith) of Silver Lake, New Hampshire, Randy Felton (Rita) of Richardson, and Lori Lindsey (Jimmy) of Granbury. Barbara found joy in being a homemaker & enjoyed reading, birdwatching, and was an excellent cook. She called herself an Army brat since her family moved frequently in the service of our country. Her home was always open to anyone who needed a home-cooked meal or a loving place to stay. She is also survived by her grandchildren and was affectionately known as Granny to Emily Hardman (Chad), Garrett Smith (Hailee), Tyler Dansand (Desiree), Catherine Hardman, Clayton Lindsey (Alexandra), Ethan Lindsey (Abigayle), Teagen Alred, Kendal Alred, one great grandson, Truett, and niece, Sharron Coleman of Seattle. A Memorial Service will be held at DFW National Cemetery on April 11, 2025 at 10:00 am. The family will have a Celebration of her life at a later date this summer. Although Barbara will not be in our presence for now we will cherish her memory forever. Her boundless love will be her legacy she passed on to all.
