Barry Sivley

Barry Jack Sivley, age 69, was taken to his eternal heavenly home on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 while surrounded by his loving family. He was met by his parents, William (Dub) L and Nathilee Sivley. Growing up, Barry liked to live on the edge. He had many stories and he was always happy to tell them. In 1977, Barry married the love of his life, Sandra, after just 9 months of dating. They were blessed with 45 wonderful years together, 3 children, and 4 grandchildren. Anyone who knew Barry knew his love for his family and more importantly for his Savior. Barry gave his life to Christ in the back yard of his Sunday school teacher and pastor, the very pastor that would officiate his and Sandra’s wedding just a year later. Barry is survived by his wife, Sandra Sivley; his son and daughter-in-law, Sean and Grace Sivley; his daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Ben Foy; his daughter and son-in-law, Jessica Sivley and Robert Garcia; his grandchildren, Ciarra, Robin, Isaak, Simon; his sister and brother, Gail Martin and Les Sivley; his nieces and nephews, Kenny, Terry, Nicole, Bill, Sara; and his Sophie-girl (dog). We will celebrate Barry’s life on Friday, February 24, 2023, at 11am. The service will be held at Christian Care Community’s Memorial Auditorium at 1000 Wiggins Pkwy, Mesquite, TX 75150.
