BURLESON – Betty J. Dement passed away peacefully on March 3, 2013 at her son’s home in Burleson, Texas, at the age of 83. Betty was born to Nick and Helen Pazzin on April 4, 1929, soon after the family moved to Ramah, CO. She was one of three children and graduated from Ramah High School. On August, 8, 1953 Betty married Arnold Dement in Eugene, Oregon. After the birth of son, Dennis in 1954 they moved to Security, Colorado. In 1956 they were blessed with a daughter, Kim. For many years Betty worked for the Widefield School District where she made many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arnold, niece Patty, and great-grandchildren; Lake Harmony, and Tyler. Betty is survived by her brother Richard Pazzin of Ramah, Colorado; sister Arlene Stoll of Colorado Springs; son Dennis Dement of Burleson, Texas; daughter Kim Dement of Colorado Springs; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-children and many nieces and nephews. Betty wished to be cremated and there will be a private memorial service held. Mom has joined our Lord and will be greatly missed.
