FORT WORTH — Bettye Jean Brandon Johnson, 84, passed away Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010 in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Tuesday at the University United Methodist Church, 2416 W. Berry St., Fort Worth, 76110. Visitation/Viewing: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Interment: private at Watson Cemetery in Arlington. Bettye was the daughter of U.R. and Nova Brandon. She was a long-time member of University United Methodist Church in Fort Worth She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Hugh Johnson, Jr. Survivors: Children, J. Hugh Johnson III, Wayne Johnson and wife Lisa, Anne Johnson, Karen Johnson Valenzuela and husband Gilbert, Stanley Johnson and wife Christine and Paul Johnson and wife Shawndra; sisters, Mildred Crow and husband Don, Barbara Buchanan and husband Henry and Martha Matthews and husband Ward; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other dearly cherished friends and loved ones.
