BURLESON – Robert Reid (Bob) Stewart died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015. Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Bob was a loving, caring, generous and kind man. He was a beloved father, Paw Paw and great-grandfather. Bob was a self made, hard working man who loved his family, friends and the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and traveling the country. Bob was never happier than when he had a house full of family and friends sharing a big meal prepared by him. Bob’s smoked brisket was legendary and his food always came with a “money back guarantee”. Bob’s friends are too numerous to count and he never met a stranger. He loved and adored his children and grandchildren and they were the light of his life. He was quick to brag about them to anyone who would listen. Bob was a wonderful man. We love him dearly and will miss him terribly Survivors: Children, Rob Stewart and wife Hiromi, Reid Stewart and wife Christie, Shelly Allred and husband Mike and Cheryl Kaufman; sister, Sue Millington; grandchildren, Mia, Arielle, Bella, Collin, Sydney, Shyanne, Colton, Aislinn and Ashton; great-grandchild, Raiden. When I’m gone Don’t mourn for me, But instead go sit under the big Oak Tree. Feel the breeze upon your face And remember this was my favorite place. Smell the aroma of the barbecue, That was cooked with Love for many or just a few. I love to cook and hear you say, “Dad, that’s the best, it made my day.” Late in life I came to know My assets were all of you and watching you grow. I know not when the end will come But I have been blessed far more than anyone. The four of you that I have raised Have brought me much joy and from friends much praise. In the shade of a tree with a slow cooking ember I will be with you and your family to remember. So don’t mourn for me For I will be with you for eternity. Your Loving Dad
