Bonnie J. Royalty

Burleson, Texas- Bonnie J. Royalty passed peacefully in her sleep on November 12, 2018. She was born in Troup, Texas on July 11, 1934. Bonnie is the eldest of seven children and was preceded in death by her husband David B. Royalty, father Martin G. Brown, mother Daisy Henry Brown and two sisters, Connie and Ruth. Bonnie and David are survived by two children, Carla Yvonne Royalty DeCastro, husband David DeCastro and son, David B. Royalty Jr. and his wife Lori Royalty. Bonnie has four grandchildren, Jeffory Young, wife Andrea, Daniel Young, wife Pam, Russell Royalty, and Miranda Royalty, three great grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Bob and Gillis, two sisters, Joy and Jane, and multiple nieces and nephews and her cat Mayling, all of whom she loved very much. She will be missed by all. Bonnie earned her LVN license from St. Joseph School of Nursing in Fort Worth Texas. She loved family gatherings, fishing, gardening, quilting, anything outdoors and adopted many stray animals in her lifetime. A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Fort Worth, on Monday, November 26th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Fort Worth, 5001 NE Loop 820, Fort Worth, Texas or to any animal rescue organization.
