Carl Douglas Holman

Carl Douglas Holman, 60, passed away peacefully, Wednesday August 26th 2015, at a local hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Service: 12 Noon, Monday, August 31st, 2015 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home, followed by private cremation. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 30th, 2015 at the funeral home. Doug, as he was known by all, was born April 14th, 1955 in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended O.D. Wyatt High School and was an avid drag racer in his prime. He was preceded in death by his father Billy Charles Holman and sister Lynne Louise Akin. Survivors: Doug is survived by his wife; Elaine, daughter; Amy, and son-in-law Brandon McGhee; daughter, Emily and son-in-law Erik Wojtkowiak; mother, Jo An Holman, twin brother Charles David Holman, brother Bill and sister-in-law Leigh Ann Holman; three precious granddaughters, Kayley and Kamryn McGhee and Ava Wojtkowiak, nieces, nephews and many other loved ones and dear friends. Doug Holman was a wonderful son, husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
