Carlean Tipler, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2025, at age 73 surrounded by her family. Born on June 14, 1952, HollySprings, Mississippi, Carlean was the eldest child of Otis and Pemmie Brown.
Carlean grew up in Holly Springs and at an early age, she joined Kimbrough Chapel MB Church. She graduated from Holly Springs High School. She made Arlington her home for over 40 years, creating a life built on faith, family, and hard work From a young age, she radiated joy and warmth, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Her kindness was boundless, her smile, unforgettable, and her spirit full of life.
She loved the outdoors and found happiness in the simple joys of gardening and planting flowers. Her love for nature reflected her nurturing soul always growing, always giving, always blooming.
Above all, Carlean was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, loving sister, and loyal friend. She cherished her family and found joy in every gathering, whether it was a family dinner or a quiet visit at home. Her presence brought laughter, comfort, and light.
Carlean is survived by her children: Bashawn Tipler (Tavedia Tipler), Shyrana Tipler, Trevin Tipler (Dhara Tipler), and Tamara Cornelious (Dewayne Cornelious); and her beloved grandchildren: Dameron Tipler, Malik Tipler, Tayvin Tipler, Tahj Tipler, Tayton Tipler, and Ra’Jean Tipler.
She also leaves behind her loving siblings: Ola Brown, Sally Allen (Forest “Sonny” Allen), Versie Brown Nelson (Rodrick Nelson), and Otis Brown, Jr. (Saundra Brown); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends who brought joy to her life.
Her legacy lives on in the lessons she taught, the love she gave, and the family she built. Though she will be deeply missed, her beautiful spirit will forever guide and inspire those who knew and loved her.
