Keene–Graveside services for Carol Nelson, 58, of Keene will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 28, 2003, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2003 at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home of Cleburne, from 4-6 PM. Carol Nelson, a homemaker, was born June 18, 1945, the daughter of Harold and Viola (Poole) Garner. Mrs. Garner passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2003, in Alvarado, Texas. She is survived by one son, David Nelson and wife, Joyce, of Keene; Step-mother, Mrs. Jerry Garner, of Fort Worth; brother, Dwayne Garner, of Bryan; grandchildren, Anna Marie Smith, Mariah Nelson and Brianna Nelson and great-grandchildren, Rogean Smith and Kede Smith.
