Ms. Sherwood was born September 1, 1950 in Paducah, Texas to Virgil Thomas Hughes and Lorena Hughes. Ms Sherwood was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her! She is survived by her son,William C. Hughes, grandchildern; Courtney, Christina, Maria, Jeffrey Lee, Hanna, Shawn O. , Zachary T Hughes, nieces; Teresa Barendowsky, Lorena Balnites, Mary Reyes, nephew ,Roger Riley and many  friends .
