Carolyn Sue Smith

Carolyn Sue Smith, born on April 22, 1960, in Adrian, Michigan, passed away on August 2, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. Carolyn was a vibrant and outgoing individual known for her adventurous spirit and deep love for her family. She had an infectious enthusiasm for life, which was evident in her love for travel and music. Carolyn’s passion for music found a special place with the Dallas Street Choir, where she not only performed but lived her dream of sharing music with others. This group’s talent and dedication brought them to one of the most prestigious stages, Carnegie Hall in New York City. Carolyn’s role was pivotal, and she proudly represented the choir during an interview on the Today Show, sharing their inspiring story with a wider audience. Carolyn’s giving nature extended beyond her public performances; she was deeply devoted to her family and friends. She is survived by her loving partner, David Natal; sons Steven, Darrin, Jeremy, Jonathan, Nathan, and Zachary Clark; 17 grandchildren; and her brother, Larry Henry. Her extended family and friends will also hold her memory dear. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Norman Smith and Betty Lou Henry, and her siblings, Dawn and Anthony Henry. Carolyn’s life was a testament to her loving nature and her ability to touch the lives of everyone she met. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her courageous spirit, and her unwavering support for her loved ones.
