Cathy Whittemore

Cathy passed away on May 3 2026 at Medical City north Richland Hills. Cathy was born on November 11 1954 the Daughter of James Glenn Davis and Peggy Nell Parr Davis. Cathy was raised in Arlington. Cathy graduated from Sam Houston High School. After High School Cathy attended North Texas state and graduated with a bachelors degree. Cathy found her calling in accounting and became an Office Manager for the Southland Corporation. In 1988 Cathy Tony the love of her life Anthony Whittemore. They married in 1991 and had a son Nicholas later in the year. This was the happiest time of Cathy,s life she had her boys two Tony and Nick. After a post op stroke in 1992 Cathy had to stop working fought hard to get well. Unable to work She volunteered at Nicks school and helped students tutoring them with reading. She also worked a a book keeper for the Cub Scouts while Nick was a member. Cathy was a member of California Lane Church if Christ.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents James and Peggy Davis; Father-in law and mother-in-law, John and Claire Whittemore, brother-in-law Michael Whittemore

Cathy is survived by her husband Anthony Whittemore and Son Nicholas, Brother Ronnie & wife Susan Davis and Sister Glenna Joiner of Wills Point.
