Cedric “Carl” Carrington

Irving–Cedric “Carl” Carrington (formerly of St. Joseph, Barbados, Toronto, ON, and Brooklyn, NY) passed away on October 17, 2020 at the age of 74. Carl received his formal education at St. Elizabeth Primary School and Arlington H.S. both in Barbados, W.I. Carl had a strong work ethic and worked many years at IBM in Dallas in which he formed life long friendships. Carl was also an avid sports fan. A special thanks to: Darrian, Jim and Calvin. Cedric was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Gertrude Belgrave Carrington (Barbados); his wife Sylvia (Brooklyn, NY), and his brother David (England). He is survived by his daughter, Clarissa Carrington (Brooklyn, NY); his grandson, Xavier; sister Jeanette (Joseph) Barrow (Barbados); brother Keith (Juliet) Belgrave (Barbados); and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In lieu of funeral services, we ask that all who wish to participate make a donation to American Diabetes Assoc. or any charity you wish in his name.
