In Loving Memory of Charise Olson. Charise Marie Olson, 55, died comfortably in her home on May 13, 2024, in Cleburne, TX. Charise died only 3 days after being diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 brain cancer. Born on August 15, 1968, in Stockton, CA, Charise lived a life full of adventure, outdoors, books, gardens, and laughs. Charise devoted her life to others. Through her tireless efforts, she provided hope, guidance, and support to those who needed it most. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and love with her family, friends and Reinspire. In 2017, Charise established Reinspire, a nonprofit. Reinspire helps disadvantaged youth and young adults achieve the future they deserve. Charise had a few guilty pleasures that brought her joy. She savored the rich taste of chocolate, indulged in aromatic cups of coffee, and raised a glass of Martinis to celebrate life’s milestones, or just because moments. Charise believed in the power of kindness. She never hesitated to lend a helping hand, whether it was a neighbor in need or a stranger she met at the grocery store. As we say goodbye to Charise, let us remember her with gratitude and love. She taught us that compassion knows no bounds and that a single act of kindness can change the world. May her memory continue to inspire us all. A celebration of life will be held later this fall with more details to come.
