Charles Alan Brandenburgh was born in Xenia, OH to Robert and Isadora Brandenburgh November 14, 1942. They moved to Oklahoma in 1945 where Alan attended school and eventually joined the U.S. Air Force Reserves out of Tinker Air Force Base for 8 years.
Alan loves people, pets, cars and music. He never met a stranger and always had a smile, laugh and twinkle in his eye for all whom met him. He was involved in several church organizations and groups and was an active member in the chamber of commerce for several years.
Alan’s love for cars and “tinkering” followed him throughout his life working on home projects and repairing small electronics and jewelry in the church resale shop.
Alan was a gifted vocalist and sang for the church choir for many years. He played the trumpet in high school, which his grandson Matthew also enjoys and is quite talented.
Alan was adored by all who met him, literally to the end of his life with all the precious nurses that cared so lovingly for him. Alan died peacefully at home, as he desired, on June 27, 2026. He will be dearly missed.
Alan is survived by his wife Anne, children Michael and Michelle and grandchildren Cody, Haley, Juneau, and Matthew.
