Christopher Michael Durant

Christopher Michael Durant, 46, passed away on January 28, 2026, peacefully at his home in Alvarado, Texas.

He was born on March 6, 1979, in Cleburne, Texas to Michael Dwayne Durant and Connie Yvonne Fannon Durant.

Christopher was hard working, good-hearted and best known by all who knew him for his incredible sense of humor. He had a gift for making people laugh and could bring a smile to anyone’s face, even on their worst day. His laughter, crazy sense of humor and quick wit will be deeply missed.

He loved sports, wrestling, science-fiction movies, and gaming. Above all, Christopher loved his family, cherished his many friends, and held a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Michael Durant; his maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Jeanette Fannon; and paternal grandmother Marjorie Beyers.

He is survived by his loving mother, Connie Fannon; his sister, Lori Stagner, and her husband, Jeffrey; as well as his niece Whitney Soto and family and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins,and many dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced.

Christopher will be missed dearly and remembered always.
