Christy peacefully passed away on December 21, 2025, at the age of 57. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose life was defined by love, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Christy had a deeply caring heart. Her love was fierce, unconditional, and constant, especially for her family. She carried a quiet strength that helped her persevere through life’s challenges, and offered comfort, guidance, and support to all who leaned on her. Alongside her strength, Christy had an unmatched sense of humor and a contagious laugh that could fill a room, bringing light and joy even in difficult moments. Her laughter was a gift that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
As a mother and grandmother, Christy was a guiding light. She took great pride in her children and grandchildren, and found her greatest joy in caring for them and being present in their lives. Her legacy is one of love, resilience, and devotion.
Christy was reunited in heaven with her late husband, Jose Hilario. She is survived by her loving husband, Guadalupe Ybarra, her daughter, Natasha Hilario, her son, Jovi Hilario, her daughter-in-law, Brittany Hilario, her granddaughter, Jhaielynn Gonzalez, and her grandson, Gadiel Hilario. She is also survived by her parents, Rosie and Robert Rivera, and Maria and Victor Hilario, and her siblings, Raymond Rivera, Bobbie Rivera, and Janice Parras, along with extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Christy’s life was a testament to perseverance, compassion, and unconditional love. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her spirit will continue to live on through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched.
Services to honor Christy’s life will be announced at a later date. The family appreciates all thoughts and prayers.
