Claudia Lee Tomlinson
January 31, 1950 – May 5, 2026
Claudia Tomlinson, 76, passed away on May 5, 2026 in Stephenville, Tx. She was born on January 31, 1950, to Cloyd Dallas Thacker and Donna Geline Hazell-Thacker. Claudia experienced great loss early in life when her mother passed away while she and her older brother, Mike, were still very young. What a blessing it was for this broken family when Doris Ruth Ognoski stepped in and married Mike and Claudia's father. This union continued its blessings by adding three more children to the family: Patricia, Charlotte, and Dwight.

Sharing her life with her husband, Morris Shephard “Tom” Tomlinson, together they raised two children, Audrey Tomlinson-Mills and Kelly Tomlinson. Claudia took pride in her family and adored her role as Grandma/Maw-maw. Her grandchildren — Bailey, Erin, Connor, Kaida, Kamree, and Kolson — brought her endless joy, and she loved celebrating their accomplishments and sharing stories about each of them. She also absolutely loved to show off pictures of her 2 great grandsons, Daniel and Liam.

Claudia will be remembered for her stubbornness and her witty charm; there was a never a doubt about what she was thinking because she was the first to tell you what she thought! If you knew Claudia, you knew she was feisty, strong-willed, and funny. She loved hard, stood up for the people she cared about, and could keep everyone laughing with her unforgettable personality.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Shephard “Tom” Tomlinson; her daughter, Audrey Tomlinson-Mills; her father, Cloyd Dallas Thacker and both of her mothers, Doris Ruth Thacker and Donna Geline Thacker.

Claudia is survived by her son, Kelly Tomlinson and wife Roxann; her brother, Michael “Mike” Thacker and wife Helen; her sisters Patricia "Patty" Thacker-Evans, Charlotte Thacker and partner Kevin; brother Dwight Thacker and wife Kim; her beloved grandchildren Bailey, Erin, Connor, Kaida, Kamree, and Kolson; and her great-grandsons Daniel and Liam.

Claudia’s wishes were to be cremated and placed in the ocean — the place where she spent countless happy hours fishing — to be reunited with Tom and Audrey.

The family invites all who knew and loved Claudia to remember her with laughter, a little sass, and the kind of trademark honesty that didn’t come with a filter or an apology.....just a grin and a shrug of the shoulders while saying "well, I said what I said." The memories Claudia created will be remembered and talked about for years to come.
