Red Oak, Texas – Cleoh Corrine Moses died Tuesday evening, February 9th, of a heart attack. Cleoh was born the 27th of July, 1932 in San Diego, California. She was predeceased by her husband, James Moses, in 2020. Cleoh is survived by her daughter, Kim Rainey of Glenn Heights, Texas. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Kahap McClure, Taw McClure, Sierra Peters, Chelsea Walker and Aubree Willis. And her great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Padilla, Elijah Padilla, Silas Peters, Nehemiah Peters, Micah Willis, Ruth Willis. She also leaves behind her beloved pet, Lucy. Cleoh grew up in San Diego. She studied ballet and sang and danced in the light opera at Starlight Bowl in Balboa Park in her late teens. She married a young navy man, Glenn Nichol, in 1951 and moved to Newport Rhode Island. Her only daughter, Kim, was born there in 1952 and as a family they traveled the world living in Hawaii, Guam and Ireland. Cleoh and Glenn divorced in 1970. Cleoh remarried in 1974 to James Moses. They were married 46 years until his passing in 2020. Cleoh touched the lives of many people in her beloved Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a very active member of her Ward in Fairview, TX and after moving to Red Oak, to be closer to her daughter she was beginning to make friends in the Waxahachie Ward. Cleoh was a sweet and humble spirit with an underlying toughness and will be missed by all who knew her well.
