Cynthia Kay Jimenez

Cynthia Kay Jimenez, 68, of Cleburne, Tx passed away at her home January 9th 2026.
Cynthia was born Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1957 in Dallas, Tx to Doyle Lavon Jones and his wife Margaret Helen Smith Jones.
She grew up in Dallas, then Bowie, Tx and later lived in San Marcos, Tx with her husband Jose Jimenez Jr where they raised their two daughters, Clarissa Nicole and Andrea Danette.
After the girl’s graduations from high school in San Marcos Cynthia moved to Cleburne Tx in 2006 where she was known as a kind and compassionate woman to all she met. She had a very generous caring heart and a playful sense of humor she was known to tickle others with.
She loved music and loved people but her main joy in life was her family. Most especially her daughters and her grandaughter.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her husband Jose Jimenez Jr, her parents, Doyle Jones and Margaret Venable, two sets of Grandparents, Jess and Etta Jones and Roy and Ruth Smith, and her brother Billy Jones. She is survived by her daughter Clarissa Jimenez of Cleburne, Tx, daughter Andrea Jimenez and Granddaughter Amaryllis May Kilpatrick of Crowley, two sisters Kathy Verden of Cleburne and Debbie Fuller of Port Angeles, Washington.
A private memorial is planned for a later date.
