CROWLEY – Daniel Jerry Jones of Crowley, 22, passed away unexpectedly April 6, 2016.  He was born July 11, 1993 in Fort Worth Texas.  He was attending Tarleton State University where he majored in Kinesiology with plans to coach baseball.  He was a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity, the Sound and the Fury Marching Band and Foul Play Basketball Pep Band.  He was a proud Tarleton State Texan and claimed he truly “Bled Purple.”  He has been a lifelong sports fanatic and lived and died with the Texas Rangers.  He served faithfully assisting youth ministry at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church and served several years as a leader at Camp Fort Worth, a service camp in North Texas.  His smile, humor, joy in life and love of others was evident to all who met him. Visitation: will be April 10 from 4:00 – 6:00 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral home at 12301 South Freeway, Burleson. Funeral: will be Monday, April 11 at 4:00 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church at 3601 Alta Mesa Blvd, Forth Worth.  Interment: will be immediately following at Caddo Cemetery in Joshua, Texas.  Memorials: in lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Daniel’s name to Tarleton State University Foul Play, in care of Tarleton State University or Camp Fort Worth, in care of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth. Survivors: he is survived by his parents, Paul and Carolyn Jones and his two brothers, Joshua and Jason Jones, Grandparents Jerry and Guldeniz Jones of Ankara, Turkey, Tom and Rosemary Nagle of Boise, Idaho, 11 aunts and uncles and 12 cousins.  He was predeceased by his Grandmother Lura Jones-Smith and Grandfather Gail Smith.
