| Dan Wade passed over Labor Day weekend. If he were writing this himself, he would probably say that it was fitting because he “worked so hard” all of his life! DWade was full of spunk and loved nothing more than bantering with anyone who would listen. We all carry so many memories of his mischievous ways. He adored his AZ Sundevils, proudly sporting their gear almost daily. He loved to bet on football and already had his picks in for the upcoming opening weekend. He treasured fishing trips with his little brother, Robert, and he never missed a family Yahtzee game. He loved his cats and enjoyed his time in the kitchen cooking, mostly hot spicy food. DWade especially loved holidays. Christmas was his absolute favorite, but he made every celebration memorable. One Fourth of July, he nearly blew us all up with fireworks, a story we still laugh about today. That was Dan: he went big, loved fiercely, and found joy in every moment. He simply lived life to the fullest. There will not be a formal service. DWade always believed he had a reason to “celebrate” every day, and that is exactly what we will do, celebrate Dan every day. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. |
