Whitney–Graveside services for David Gorman, 61, of Whitney, will be held at Cope Cemetery at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 30, 2004, with Pastor Alan Lane officiating. David Gorman, a boxing manager, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2004, in Whitney, Texas. He was born March 18, 1943, the son of Elvis and Virginia Gorman. He married Loretta Timmons, January 16, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was preceded in death by one son, Mike. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Gorman, of Whitney; son, David Gorman, Jr. and wife, Becky, of Joshua; daughter, Cindy Irvin and husband, Mark, of Godley;
