Fort Worth, TX – David Neal Sparks joined his heavenly father and reunited with his beloved mother on October 29, 2016, when he passed away unexpectedly at his home in Haslet, TX. He was born on August 24, 1965 in Perryton, TX. Preceded in death by his mother & stepfather, Clois & Edwin Cox, David is survived by his wife Lori, son Caleb Sparks, daughters Anessa Sparks, Bailee & Kylie Ingoe; father & stepmother Jerry and Margaret Sparks; brother Rick & Michelle Sparks; sister Jerri and Raymond Powell; 4 nieces, 2 great nieces, 4 great nephews, and his beloved dog Jake. David worked in many roles during his life including those at TXU, TxDOT, UPS, and Grainger. When David smiled there was always a twinkle in his eye – evidence of his playful personality. He loved sporting his UT wear while cheering his favorite collegiate team, watching and cheering for the Texas Rangers, and going to see marching bands. David lovingly teased anyone he had the chance to, he enjoyed making others laugh, sharing hugs, having a Sonic Coke, hanging out his dog, and most of all spending time with his family and friends. A memorial picnic for family and friends to celebrate David’s life will be held Saturday, Nov 5, 2016 at 1:00pm in Decatur, Tx.
