Deborah Anne Wood, born on February 20, 1952, a native of Greenville, South Carolina, entered into the presence of the Lord on November 21, 2025. Anne passed away at her home, in Fort Worth, Texas. Anne was the eldest child of, the late John Robert Wood Sr and Suedell Mae Matthews of Greenville, SC.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her younger brother John Robert “Tony” Wood, in 2019. Anne is survived by her nieces and nephews; Milton Pittman (Jeannie), Shane Wood (Kristi), Ethan Wood, Vince Wood, and Nichole Green (Dewayne); her aunts Marilyn Wilson and Joyce Roth; and her beloved cousins.

Anne had a love for life and found joy in many interests. She loved the Lord, serving others, spending time with family and friends, and being in nature. She had a beautiful singing voice, and enjoyed praising the Lord with her voice. She was a wonderful cook, and loved cooking for family and friends. She loved horses and her many dogs she had over the years, and she loved the Great Smokey Mountains.

Anne was a graduate of Rhema Bible Training College, completing her degree in evangelism in 1985. She worked in television broadcasting for many years, as a master control operator. Anne was well-known and beloved in all the churches she attended, where she actively participated and found joy in serving others. Anne was a gifted biblical scholar who possessed a remarkable ability to articulate verses and apply them to life's situations, offering wisdom and guidance to anyone in need. She was a steadfast soldier for the Lord, dedicating her life to educating others and spreading His message.

Anne cherished her family and found great joy in their company and reminiscing about their shared memories. She and had an almost encyclopedic knowledge of her families background and ancestry. And she was a fierce and loyal supporter to her family, always there when a kind and encouraging word was needed.

Anne was also a very devoted and loyal friend, making friends wherever she went. Anne was blessed with wonderful lifelong friends, and the bond they shared was a testament to her loving and loyal nature.

Anne was beloved and admired by the many people whose lives she impacted. Her memory will be cherished, and we will miss her dearly.

A celebration of life for Anne, will be held at a later time, with details to follow.
