Debra Gail Downs Strickland

Debra Gail Downs Strickland, 69, went to her Heavenly home on May 12, 2026 in Granbury Texas. Debbie was born July 7, 1956 in Coleman County, Texas, to Eddie Wayne Downs and Barbara Gail Downs.
Debbie worked for the United States Post Office as a postal clerk, but doing other roles as well. She had many hobbies, but loved antiquing, dancing and living on the lake.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who loved her and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Jim Strickland; son, Jarrett Skaggs, stepdaughter, Sandra (Ignesius); grandchildren, Braden, Megan, and Brittany; great grandchildren Mckayla and Cayden. Brothers, Ricky (Terri), Chuck (Lisa) and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
