Dian Tuckey Pack

July 8, 1934 — September 27, 2025

McKinney Texas

Dian Tuckey Pack peacefully departed this earth and went to be with The Lord in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 27, 2025 from her home at The Ivy assisted living community in McKinney, Texas. She was born in Ballinger, Texas on July 8, 1934 to her parents, J. G. and Mary Lou Tuckey. She was the second of the four “Tuckey girls” as they were known in Ballinger. Her older sister, Cynthia Devlin, and one of her younger sisters, Sharon Dykes predeceased her. Dian is survived by her youngest sister, Linda Reinhart of Lubbock, along with three children, Bob Baker of Galveston, Mary Morgan of McKinney, and Elizabeth Black of Yukon, Oklahoma and their spouses. Her oldest grandson, Michael Morgan, also predeceased her. She is survived by her four remaining grandchildren, Michelle Bailey of McKinney, Matt Baker of League City, Jeff Baker of Houston, and Jerred Murphy of Yukon, along with four greatgrandsons.

Dian was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Reverend Charles Pack. She was instrumental in assisting with her husband’s ministry of Bible prophesy, Thy Kingdom Come, which was based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With this, she filled roles as diverse as coordinating trips to the Holy Land to driving the oversized RV they used in order to travel to religious meetings across the US.

This spirit of service to others began early in life for Dian. Shortly after graduating from college, she took a position as an elementary school teacher, concentrating on the kindergarten and first grade levels. In all, Dian taught for 20 years before making the transition to help her husband’s ministry full time.

After her husband’s death in 2014, she settled in Oklahoma City and lived there for 4 years before moving to the DFW area to be closer to her daughter, Mary. At the retirement communities where she lived, Dian continued to minister to others through leading a Bible study for her fellow residents. After Dian moved into The Ivy of McKinney assisted living community in 2023, she no longer was able to lead, but she was an active participant in the worship services and Bible studies held there until shortly before her death.

Overall, Dian Pack lived a full life of 91 years, and she had the opportunity to touch the hearts and souls of thousands of people. She made the world a better place. We will miss her, but we rejoice in the assurance of Matthew 25:23 that she now is home in heaven, with God telling her “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

A celebration of Dian’s life will be held at The Ivy of McKinney on Friday October 17, 2025 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks instead that donations be made in honor of Dian to the “You’re Not Forgotten” ministry of Kathleen Cousins, who led the Bible study at The Ivy that Dian attended, and will be leading Dian’s memorial service on October 17.
