Dixie Eliza Link

McKinney, TX – On March 7, 2025, God called Dixie to be by His side. She was preceded in her journey by her beloved husband, Lewis Link, and her youngest daughter, Elizabeth DiMercurio. Dixie is lovingly remembered by her children: Allen Link of McKinney, TX; Shana Longoria her husband Javier of Carrollton TX and Frederic Link and his wife, Sibone, of Grand Prairie, TX. She was a cherished grandmother to five granddaughters: Shara Cowart and her husband, Thomas; Melissa Vongsomath; Tina Vongsombath; Ashley Link; and Mandy Link. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Shayla, Jadin, Riley, Shania Cowart, and Coby, Ty, Liam Nguyen, and Charlotte Sek. In addition, she is survived by multiple nieces and nephews. Dixie’s love, strength, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Services will be held at First McKinney Baptist Church (1615 W Louisiana St, McKinney, TX 75069) on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 2 pm. Minister Matt Graham will officiate. Burial will follow at City of Allen Cemetery.
