Domenick Salvatore Buccieri 1924–2014 ARLINGTON-Domenick Salvatore Buccieri, age 89, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014.   He was born in Claremont, New Hampshire and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut, the son of the late Pasquale and Maria Letizia Borrega Buccieri, who immigrated to America from Italy.   He served in World War II in the United States Navy, where he used sonar to identify enemy submarines in American coastal waters and the Pacific islands.  During the war, he was stationed in ports along both US coasts, as well as Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Okinawa. After World War II, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas and was employed by Pitney Bowes in sales for many years.  Survivors include his son, Patrick Buccieri, his daughter, Elaine Buccieri, his granddaughter, Janet Addamz, his grandson, Michael Buccieri, all of Fort Worth, Texas.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews residing in Connecticut, including Phillip Gribosky and Steven Gribosky, Jr an his wife Barbara. He was also predeceased by his sister, Philomena Gribosky, and brothers Frank, Joseph and Anthony Buccieri. His ashes will be dispersed at sea in a Naval burial, followed by a memorial service at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery for veterans.   Donations may be made in his name to a favorite veteran organization.
