Don Dale Robertson

Don Dale Robertson, 67, of Gainesville Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019 after an 8 month battle with lung cancer. He was born on September 28, 1952 in Abilene, Texas to Kenneth and Carrie Robertson. He enlisted and served his country in the Vietnam War from 1969-1972. He was a self taught musician and enjoyed watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys, the Texas Longhorns, and never missed a Gainesville Leopard game on the radio. He was employed at Joe Walter Lumber for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Deborah Kay Robertson, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Ashley Robertson, sons Jimmy and Justin Robertson, 6 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter, and his brother Terry Robertson. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Carrie Robertson, and brother, Stephen Robertson. He will be cremated but a celebration of life is pending.
