Donald David Bingaman

d. July 19, 2024

Don Bingaman of Grapevine Texas, passed away in the early hours of July 19, 2024, at the untimely age of 66. Don was born on January 8,1958, to Don Sr. and Louise Bingaman, in Wichita Falls, Tx. Don grew up in Amarillo Texas and Fort Smith Arkansas. He attended the University of Arkansas, which set the tone for a whole family of Razorbacks to follow. After college, Don moved to Dallas and met his sweetheart, Alice, at the University Park Pool, and was married within the year. They soon got to work and started a family with their son David, followed by three daughters, Jennie Hayes, Elle, and Mary Lou. Don’s love for his children was remarkable, and he continually supported them and their passions with selfless enthusiasm and dedication. He had a successful career in real estate in the Dallas area and was loved and respected by all his peers. Don was a people person and could connect with anyone and everyone with a grin and a laugh. Don loved the outdoors, and his passion for the mountains and wild places was unmatched. He introduced his friends and family alike to backpacking, climbing and cycling, and this proved an endless source of peace and inspiration to him. This love spread through his family, and some of our fondest memories involve camping, fishing and biking as a family in Colorado. Don was also a music lover, a dog lover, and cinnamon roll connoisseur. He and his wife Alice were a force to be reconned with on the dance floor. He was a loving husband, supportive father, and most of all, a child of the King of Kings. His relationship with his Savior was the focal point in his life and radiated his Father’s love. He is survived by his wife Alice Bingaman, their four kids, and three sons in law: David Bingaman, Jennie Hayes Kurtz (John), Elle Finn(Levi), and Mary Lou Sentz(Jack), as well as his brother, Jamie Bingaman, and sisters in law, Lacey Bingaman and Ellen Grigsby. He will be greatly missed, but we know Don is in Paradise with his Heavenly Father. The celebration of life will be on Thursday, the 25th of July, at 3pm at Restoration Church in Southlake TX. (1280 E Highland St, Southlake, TX 76092)
