Donald Glen Shields

Donald Glen Shields, born March 9, 1953, died August 8, 2018 in Arlington, Tx at 65 years of age of a stroke. He follows his father G.B.Shields, his mother, Juanita Shields, and his sister, Geneva Crow to heaven. Don grew up in Oak Cliff where he had many adventures. He leaves behind his wife of 23 years Hope Shields and his 4 children Sarah Flanagan and husband Michael, Tony Gaudio and wife Jen, Stacie Shields, and Kelsey Maffioli and husband Scott and ten grandchildren Shayleigh, Emerald, Philip, Melody, Elisabeth, Kaitlynn, Lillie, Mary, Izzy, Alexandria and one new one on the way he was excited about. He also leaves behind his sisters children Thomas Crow and wife Diana and daughter Taylor,and Meagan Crow-Vasquez husband Ricky and sons Hayden and Caleb and numerous more nieces and nephews throughout the United States. He had multitudes of friends who will miss him and the adventures we went on. His wish to be cremated took place on Aug 10. He will have a large memorial at Lake Arlington activities center on Thur Aug 16 from 6-8 and a smaller one at his home on Sun aug 19 from 2-4.
