Donald James Ennis

Donald James Ennis, age 76 of Burleson, TX, died Tuesday, February 1, 2017. Service will be held at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21, at 10am. Donald was born on August 4, 1940, in Childress, TX, to Marshall and Ruth Ennis. He served in the United States Air Force as a Military Police Officer. He worked as a maintenance mechanic at Miller for 30 years and retired in 2005. He met Judy Walston in 1964 and they were married on February 15, 1965. They moved to their home in Burleson, TX in 1978. He enjoyed hunting doves, luxury cars, watching TV, and shooting pool. Don was preceded in death by his father Marshall and his mother Ruth. Survivors include his wife, Judy, of Burleson, TX; his son, James Ennis, of Thornton, CO; his daughter, Donna Williams, of San Antonio, TX; his daughter-in-law, Kim Ennis, of Englewood, CO; five grandchildren: Ashley, Kyle, Colby, Sari, and Tyler; and two great grandchildren: Easton and Pierson.
