Donna Sue Sanchez

Donna Sue Sanchez, of Midlothian, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on July 11, 1961 to the late Dallas and Christine Bishop.

Donna is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 44 years Danny Sanchez, her children, Jereme Sanchez and his wife Courtney, Tasha Atkinson and her husband Adam, Brett Pierson, and her husband Kevin, as well as her siblings Debbie Sanders, Becky Ewing, and Jerry Bishop.

A proud grandmother and great grandmother, Donna’s joy lives on through McKabe Serie, Ethan Serie, Jason Darnell, Sofie Atkinson, Noah Darnell, Avery Sanchez, Blake Sanchez, Hudson Pierson, and Hunter Darnell. She will be missed by many other relatives and friends

Donna faced cancer with strength, grace, and unwavering courage. She found joy in the simple things — fishing, camping, and being outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of nature. But more than anything, Donna loved being with her family. Family was her world, her greatest joy, and her proudest accomplishment. She poured her heart into every gathering, every conversation, every hug.

A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at Rush Creek Church- Green Oaks Campus, on November 13, 2025 at 10:00am. Flowers may be sent to the church at the address below:
