Dorothy Belle Jacobs

JOSHUA — Dorothy B. Jacobs, 88, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, in her home. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Sunday at Lane Prairie Baptist Church, 412 CR 704, Joshua. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lane Prairie Youth Ministries or the American Diabetes Association. Dorothy was born March 1, 1924, in Smock, Pa., to Wilmeretta Morris Mains and Logan Watson Mains. She lived in Greensburg, Pa., until she moved to Texas in 2004. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Jacobs of Joshua; sister, Norma Mains of Brownsville, Pa.; sister, Joan Aufricht of San Jose, Calif. Survivors: Daughter, Dru Hunsaker and husband, Doug; granddaughter, Tiffany Hunsaker; great-granddaughter, Taylor Trout, all of Joshua; sisters, Bette Ashton and Ruth Maize of Uniontown, Pa., Louis Messenger of Tampa, Fla.; brother, Don Mains of Springhill, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
