Dorothy Bowland passed from this life into the arms of Our Lord with her family by her side on  Thursday April 20,2017. Service: 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Visitation:  6-8 pm Monday April 24, 2017 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Dorothy was born to R.L. and Francis Sikes Freeman on November 16,1928 in Santa Anna, Texas. Dorothy loved spending summers on Lake Weatherford, traveling in the RV, playing games and spending time with her family. She was also known for her amazing baking skills, especially cakes and candy. She loved creating beautiful ceramics keepsakes for her family and friends to enjoy. She is proceeded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers. Survived by: sons, Bob (Terri) of Kennedale, Tab (Cathy) of Granbury, four grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
