While the country was celebrating its Independence Day, our family was celebrating the life of our “little” brother. He was named after Edson Arantes Do Nacimiento Pele, the great Brazilian soccer player. Edson came to the United States as a young boy, and grew up in Sherman, Texas. At a young age, he became a repair plumber, recently getting his Master Plumber License, and opening his own business called Good Guys Plumbing. Edson was well known for his love of VW buses and cars, always having a project or two on hand. He loved browsing TheSamba.com; he could not wait for the next car show.
