Edward Denna

Edward H. Denna, 88, passed away on Nov. 24, 2012. He was a resident of Fort Worth, recently moving to Texas from his long time home of Elyria, Ohio. He was born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia, near the town of Cowen. He enjoyed crafting leather, playing the guitar, and living life. He was a proud Army veteran of World War II, and told many stories of his time in the south seas and the Philippines. He was laid to rest at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Dec. 11, 2012, with his wife Dorothy L. Denna. He is survived by three daughters; Connie Lucas of Hamlin, W.Va., Lolita Pauley of Daytona Beach, FL., and Edena Dunfee of Cleveland, OH. Ten grandchilden; Theresa Walker, Tyrone Walker, Kevin Denna-Lucas, Matthew Lucas, William Lucas, Grace Lucas, Heather Casey, Sarah Casey, Nathan Dunfee, and Jarrod Dunfee. And several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three wives, and his daughter Cathy Walker.
