Edwin Almond Whitted

Edwin Almond Whitted, born January 11, 1943 in Dallas, passed away July 4th, 2024. He went to work at Western Electric right after high school where he remained until retirement. He was an installer but then a few years later was promoted to management. Western Electric merged with AT&T. Edwin married Nancy Biggs shortly after high school and they became parents of twins to Edwin DeVane and Richard Wayne in 1962. Edwin loved sailing, motorcycles, snow skiing, parasailing, camping, and driving his convertible. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy, his son Richard Wayne, two grandsons, Devin Michael and Lochlan James, one granddaughter Melissa Nicole, and one great grandson, Luca Joseph. He will be missed.
