Eileen Rooney Kellaher, age 90, of Princeton, Texas, passed away March 5, 2025. Born on November 9, 1934, in London, England to James and Catherine Rooney. She spent her earlier years in Liverpool, England where she met and married the love of her life, William H. Kellaher on June 15, 1957. Following the birth of their two sons Bill and Eileen moved the family to America in 1967 where the birth of their daughter followed a year later. Eileen had a successful career in the travel industry and owned her own travel agency until her retirement in 1997. She was known for her unwavering devotion to her family, her independence, and her determination. Eileen was a source of strength and guidance to those around her and was a beacon of love and support for all who knew her. She is survived by her sons, Liam Kellaher of Edgewater, Florida, and Eamonn Kellaher of Princeton, Texas; daughter, Danielle, and her husband, Dale Marksberry, of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley King, Patrick Kellaher, and Kailey Loftice; great-grandchildren, Alexei and Leighla Kellaher, and Willow Loftice; and her loving sister, Pauline Pheysey, of Liverpool, England. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kellaher, in 2014; her parents; her sister, Shelia Rooney; and her granddaughter, Kelsie Anne-Dayle Marksberry. Eileen will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Van Winkle Cemetery in Climax, Texas as her cherished memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
