Eileen Patricia O’Leary

Eileen passed away in her sleep on the evening of Sunday May 24th, 2015, in Ft. Worth, TX. She was born on November 30th, 1954 at Sibley Hospital in Washington D.C. to John Francis O’leary and Annie Inez O’Leary. She spent her early years in Hyattsvillle, MD. and around College Park where she met and married the father of her children. She then spent time in Liverpool, NY and Shelton, CT and ultimately settled in Arlington, TX . She made many friends along the way and will be missed and loved by all. It was in Arlington where she met her love Byron Brecheen. They spent many years together enjoying each others company. Whether attending a concert, watching grandchildren, or just simply spending time together they supported each other through good times and bad. She will be remembered for her love of her children, grandchildren, music, infectious laugh, and her free spirit. She is survived by her children, Annie Thornhill and her husband Sterling of Mansfield, TX. and Michael Veader and his wife Heather of Grapevine, TX.; 5 grandchildren- Nicholas, Callie, Parker, Megan and Breanna. Her love, best friend, and long time companion Byron Brecheen , sister Marguerite Weems and her husband Johnny of Winchester, VA, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many more who considered her family. Her wishes were to forego a memorial service and instead have her ashes spread in a special place known by her family.
