Elaine Jarrett

BURLESON — Elaine Jarrett, 73, a loving mother, nanny and friend, passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Crowley. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Elaine worked in the banking industry in the Burleson and Crowley area for many years. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Crowley. Elaine enjoyed spending time with her friends in the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee Jarrett Sr.; daughter, Terry Jarrett; and eight brothers. Survivors: Sons, Tom, Butch and wife, Christy, Randy and wife, Diana; daughter, Patty Teeter and husband, Keith; grandchildren, Crystal, Mandy, Morgan, Brett, Brandon, Erica and Ryan Jarrett, and Matt and Aaron Teeter; sister, Charlotte Rix; brothers, Delbert, Charles and Millard Jordan; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and her faithful canine companion, Sissy.
