Elizabeth Ann Canady Parham, “Mamaw”, passed away October 24, 2023 at home in Glen Rose with her loving family by her side. Elizabeth was born June 16,1930 in Odessa, Texas to Olah James Canady and Annie Sue Lockhart Canandy. She married the love of her life, Elvis Parham on February 8, 1950 in Stephenville, Texas and then they moved to Glen Rose, Texas. If anyone knew our Mamaw, you knew she was “Mamaw” to everyone! After many years of working for Glen Lake Methodist  Camp, she retired to enjoy her family and friends. She was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church before changing her membership to Grace Baptist Church in Glen Rose, Texas. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her loving husband, Elvis Parham, son, Elvis Parham, Jr., granddaughter, Tara Elms, her parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters. She is survived by daughters; Vickie Hughes (Dave), Sherri Parsons, Delinda David (Bruce), grandchildren; Stacie MacDonald (Kyle), Cody Parsons, Jodi Snider(Alan), Matt Brooks (Tiffany), Denena Simpson (DL), Brent Davis (Shanna), Kyle Davis, sisters; Marcy Capell and Janette Pierce, great grandchildren; Taylor Bills, Bailey Parsons, Jadon Sinclair, Jamie, Austin, Logan and Levi Snider, Lexee Simpson, Kason MacDonald, Stella, Bella and Jack Brooks, Kaydence, Chandler and Kallie Davis, Shelby and Shanley Bybee, Nathan Rigano, Railyn Davis, Kayla and Zachary Abbott and Ryan Marchman and a slew of extended family and friends.
