Elmer Douglas

Fort Worth– Elmer “Dusty” Douglas, 85, went to be with the Lord Monday morning, December 22, 2014. Born in a coal mining camp in Mt. Harris, CO. to Orval Douglas and Opal Cook Douglas. One of five children, including Ruth, Dick, Danny and Donny. He graduated from Hayden High School in 1947, served 4 years in the Navy and later attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. Elmer moved to Southern California in 1955 and had a long career in the Electronics field before working as a Private Investigator. Late in life he moved to Texas. He is survived by his wife Linda,  sons Steven and Scott, daughter in law Ganka, two grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was a loving and caring person who always put everyone before himself. He will be greatly missed.
