Eric Joy

James Eric Joy passed away Friday morning December 26, 2025, in Fort Worth. Born to parents Joyce and James in spring of 79' then raised in and graduated from Godley High School in 1997. He enjoyed listening to music and driving the backroads with his friends, practicing Akido and riding his Harley (which he was sooooo proud of by the way). He was also a veteran welder of over 20 years.
Eric is proceeded in death by Maternal grandparents Edie and Dub, Paternal grandparents Gene and Myrna and brother Cory Mann. He is survived by his two daughters Katlin and Tatum; Parents Joyce and Michael Lancaster and James and Judy Joy; Sister Melony and her husband David Yates also Brother Kyle and wife Cristy Mann; Nephews Landon Brody and Niece Emma; and numerous aunts uncles and cousins.
